Micheal, you have gotten a lot of work done. i agree, the sources are hard on that topic, that is why I think I want to go backto my original idea which was the Denver Mint. I don't know if it is too late to change, but I have found a lot of information and have fomulated my research question. I think you are on the right track with finding what profits were gained by prostitution in Montana and why there was a wave of prostitution during the gold rush. Have you have a chance to visit the Archives? How much information were you able to establish so far on your newfound subject? Like MIchael I have found that our time in LC wasn't long enough. However, I think it was helpful for us to get the reader's id and to even finally set foot in the library. What made you decide to write about the Mint and how have you found out about it?
